Arborist services in Otumoetai, caring for large mature trees, hedges and harbour-view properties. Start with the outcome you need: a safer access route, appropriate pruning, an unwanted stump dealt with or an assessment before making a decision. Tree removal is only one option; the condition and setting of the tree should guide the recommendation.
For established gardens or a property being redeveloped, mark retained trees and proposed changes before work. Existing roots and canopy space deserve attention alongside the immediate clearance objective.
Check Tauranga City Council information before altering a potentially protected tree. The council states that protected-tree removal, pruning and construction nearby require consent. Confirm the specific tree and proposed work with the council before proceeding.
Send the Otumoetai property address, photographs of the tree and access, and a description of the result you want. Include your preferred timing, any damage and whether you want timber or mulch retained. The written scope should distinguish tree work, stump work, waste removal and any follow-up care. Trees near powerlines need specialist coordination; stay clear and contact the network operator rather than attempting the work.
